This is Lesson 7 for chess beginners to learn the main chess openings. Today, you can see the below video to take Chess Opening Quiz Number 2 on Semi-Open Game chess openings, namely on: Sicilian Defense, French Defense, Alekhine's Defense, Scandinavian Defense, and Caro-Kann Defense.

Note. Remember that the Semi-Open Games start with the following first moves: 1.e4 for White and 1...any move other than e5 for Black. The below video will help you train yourself to spot the Semi-Open Game chess openings by their positions after their initial moves. Here is a short description of the video:

See the initial position after 1.e4 c5 (this is Sicilian Defense), after 1. e4 e6 2.d4 d5 (this is French Defense), etc..
