I. Scandinavian Defense PGN File

Scandinavian Defense PGN file on this page

The Scandinavian Defense chess opening B01 inaugurates with the moves 1.e4 d5. The opening has been proved to be playable and is specific one by possible early engagement of the Black queen. Scandinavian games usually run 1.e4 d5 2.exd5 Qxd5 or 1.e4 d5 2.exd5 Nf6, which you will see in the PGN file.

Very rarely, they play 1.e4 d5 2.Nc3,e5,d3 ... Using PGN files is a great way to learn chess openings by viewing the PGN file via a PGN viewer software in order to see and learn the chess games recorded in the PGN file. And the following is more information about the Scandinavian Defense PGN file...

The current PGN file contains 300 games on the Scandinavian Defense B01, played by chess masters in the year 2019. The first 10 games were analyzed by a chess engine approximately at the end of the opening phase to highlight who is better and to show you best lines to continue for the middlegame.

For example, you can see the following chess engine evaluation: "White is better, +1.14. A best line: 15.Rxb7 c5 16.Re1 Rad8 17.Bf1 Nd7" (e.g. White is better as if he won 1.14 pawns, with the following meanings: 0-0.5 pawn -- equal; 0.51-1.00 -- slightly better; 1.01-1.50 -- better; 1.51++ - much better).

The Scandinavian Defense chess games of 2019 were not selected by any special criterion and not sorted by playing lines. To say again -- there are 300 chess master games in the PGN file, of them: • Line 1.e4 d5 2.exd5 Qxd5 - 183 games; Line 1.e4 d5 2.exd5 Nf6 - 102 games; other lines 1.e4 d5 2... - 15 games.
